But anyways, every time I get a report card, it's always the same thing. My mom is easier, of course, and she tends to be accepting of it, though she has her complaints. My dad, on the other hand, has a habit of making more of it then it ought to be. What it is, is a second term grade nine report card that none to many care about when it comes to universities. What he makes of it, is apparently the most important thing in the world. I am doing fairly well in comparison to much of my school, yes there are the kids who stress when they score lower than 80%, but they are scarce, and are the kids who bring the average those few percents higher than mine. But then there is those students with an average of 50 something percent or lower. There are more of those then there should be, but they're still there.
My dad fails to see that I am in fact doing, maybe not as well as I could be (which I am sure is what frustrates him) but much better then I would be if I, in his words, "didn't care."
Thank-you for giving me a place to rant about that, and sorry to all those who went through the torture of reading the unorganized blob that is that paragraph.
